Graduate Assistantships ApplyIf you wish to apply for an academic year appointment, fill out a
SOE Graduate Assistant Application completely, attach a current resume, and return it to the Office of the Associate Dean, UWM School of Education, Enderis Hall-Room 513, P.O. Box 413, Milwaukee, WI 53201. Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis; however, we strongly suggest that you submit your application prior to March 15 to ensure full consideration for the upcoming academic year.
RemissionGraduate teaching and project/program assistants who hold appointments at 33% of full time or more are eligible for remission of tuition, where applicable, for the semester of appointment. Payment of segregated fees or special course fees are the responsibility of the student.
PolicyIt is the policy of the doctoral program to support qualified individuals who will commit to two full academic years to study with no outside employment. A small number of assistantships, will be earmarked for entering doctoral students. Of the remaining assistantships, priority will be given to continuing second year assistantships and then to other students, both new and continuing, who have applied for them.
