René Antrop-González

René Antrop-González, who teaches bilingual education courses, has experience teaching English as a second language (ESL) at the elementary, high school and college levels in Puerto Rico and the United States. His research interests include African American and Latina(o) sociology of education, urban school reform, and African American and Latina(o) high achievers.
Antrop-González received his M.Ed. in teaching of English as a second language at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico and his Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in bilingual education from the Pennsylvania State University.
