Meghan Steinmeyer

Meghan Steinmeyer teaches courses for the Middle Childhood through Early Adolescence Program. Her research interests include the mathematical knowledge needed by teachers to teach math effectively and promoting mathematics communication in the elementary classroom. She is also working with the Milwaukee Mathematics Partnership and collaborates with the teachers-in-residence and math teaching specialists in Milwaukee Public Schools through that partnership. Steinmeyer received her bachelor's degree from Creighton University in Omaha, NE, and her master's degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
