Nancy File teaches courses in early childhood education at both the undergraduate and graduate levels across a range of topic areas. She has a commitment to professional development focused on the infant, toddler and preschool years. Her research interests revolve around teachers' mediation of children's learning and classroom experiences. File has several years of experience as head teacher in campus-based preschool programs. She received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Purdue University.
