Nancy File Associate Professor
Department of Curriculum and Instruction
Nancy File teaches courses in early childhood education and supervises student teachers. Her research interests are how teachers perceive their classroom roles with young children and interact to mediate their learning; and teacher preparation and professional development. She has a commitment to and experience working with and writing about issues related to young children with disabilities. File also has several years of experience as head teacher in lab schools. She received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Purdue University.
