Tracy Posnanski is an elementary-level science educator. He works closely with the Milwaukee Public Schools in science teacher pre-service and in-service instruction. His research interests include curriculum development, science teacher self-efficacy beliefs, the professional development of science teachers, and program evaluation.
Posnanski served as an advisory board member and field test coordinator for the Biological Science Curriculum Study's middle school science and technology curricula and has served as a project reviewer for Biology: A Human Approach. He has also acted as coordinator for the American Geological Institute's EarthComm, an earth science curriculum. Posnanski is a past editor of the journal, Science Teacher Education, and was recipient of the Hutto-Erdman Conservation Scholarship. Posnanski received his master's and Ph.D. from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
