Department of Curriculum and Instruction
Christiane Wood teaches courses in the Middle Childhood through Early Adolescence Program. Her scholarly interests include literacy, new literacies, technology and play, urban teaching and learning in the 21st century with emphasis on educational leadership for change.
Ms. Wood is currently a doctoral student in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Ms. Wood received her Elementary Education and French B.A. from Marquette University, M.A. in Educational Policy & Leadership and Literacy Studies from Marquette University, and a Reading Specialist Certification from UW-Madison.
