Post Baccalaureate:
This term is commonly used in the School of Education for students with an undergraduate degree who are returning to school to obtain a teaching certification. Post Baccalaureate students pursuing only a teaching certification are classified as undergraduate students and pay undergraduate tuition.


Exceptional Education Post-Baccalaureate Sessions

The Department of Exceptional Education holds Post-Baccalaureate Information Sessions on a regular basis to explain the programs and the contents of the application packet.

Minimum application requirements: Bachelor's Degree, 2.50 GPA, passing Praxis I test scores or an active 5-year Wisconsin teaching license.

No RSVP required
All sessions are 5-6:30pm

Post Baccalaureate Teacher Certifications Sessions

Anyone interested in applying to a post baccalaureate teacher certification program must attend an informational session prior to application or prior to making an appointment with an academic advisor.

Registration Deadline: 12:00pm CST the Thursday before the session to ensure enough time for preparation of materials
