Professional Development Partnerships

Professional Development Partnerships provide professional development opportunities for educators and are a result of the collaborative efforts between the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Education and Milwaukee Public Schools.

Research


Research resources are available through the Institute for Intercultural Research as well as through the Consulting Office for Research and Evaluation. Ongoing research projects are being conducted through the Office of Academic Services focusing on the SPARK Program and the effect of tutoring on PRAXIS I scores.

The Teachers for A New Era project, funded by the Carnegie Corporation of New York, is designed to increase the quality of teaching in K-12 classrooms by improving the quality of teacher education programs and enhancing the position of teacher education at each participating TNE institution.
