The SPARK Early Literacy Program, a partnership involving UWM, The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee , the Milwaukee Public Schools, and AmeriCorps, will be hiring 50-60 students to provide reading instruction to students in grades K-3 each year. Part-time positions, with varying levels of time commitment, are available.

Faculty in the School of Education will be conducting on-going research over the course of the study, to determine the level of improvement of the program participants.
