Metropolitan Multicultural Teacher Education Program (MMTEP)

MMTEP was developed for paraprofessionals currently working in MPS who hold bachelor's degrees, but who have not completed a teacher certification program. Through a combination of academic work at UWM and full responsibility for his/her own MPS classroom, a student may earn certification. Mentor teachers from MPS offer on-site coaching while UWM provides supervision and student support services. For additional information, please click here.
