Criminal Background Check
In accordance with the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents and the Milwaukee Board of School Directors, all students planning to participate in clinical field experience/student teaching in Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) must undergo a criminal records investigation every two years.
Students who fail to do so will be ineligible for a field experience/student teaching placement.
Criminal Background Checks may be dropped off in Enderis Hall, Room 209 or mailed to:

A $10 check or money order payable to UWM School of Education is required. Students currently enrolled in CURRINS 100 and current MPS employees are exempt from this fee.
