How does PI-34 affect me? For all future educators who are graduating after August of 2004 you need to
learn about PI-34! This is a new law that changes the licensing requirements
for all education majors. Under this new law you have to take the Praxis I
test before you enter the School of Education and before you graduate you have
to take the Praxis II test. There are also changes to how you renew your
license once you become a teacher.
