SOIS Professional Development Institute

UWM Bolton Hall

Course Delivery
The Institute offers courses onsite as well as online.  Customized courses for professionals or support staff can be arranged and need not take place in Milwaukee.

Online courses are provided through Desire2Learn (UWM's Course Management System). It is convenient, intuitive, and very interactive. Students in online classes should be able to send and receive e-mail, be relatively comfortable with the Internet, and should have ready access to a computer with a connection to the Web.  Students who register for online courses will be contacted with information about accessing the course site.
