To kick off Banned Books Week, the UW-Milwaukee, School of Information Studies and UWM's Center for Information Policy Research (CIPR) is partnering with the Milwaukee Public Library to host a presentation by Barbara Jones, Director of the ALA Office of Intellectual Freedom.


Barbara Jones is the director of the Office for Intellectual Freedom at the American Library Association and executive director of the Freedom to Read Foundation. She has been active for 25 years in the field of intellectual freedom issues.
