The SOIS International Initiatives Group (SIIG) is currently accepting student presentation proposals for its first Student International Experience Lecture Forum to be held on February 11, 2010. The Student International Experience Lecture Forum provides SOIS undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to share international experiences they have had and to explain how those experiences might be understood in the context of information issues.
We welcome presentations from U.S. students who have spent time in other countries for academic or non-academic purposes, as well as from international students who wish to share their perspectives. Presentations should be 15-20 minutes in length.
Distance Education students are highly encouraged to submit proposals. SIIG will provide accommodations, airfare, and per diem for DE presenters.
