Bio

Chad earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Iowa in 1993 and his MLIS from UW-Milwaukee in 1999. Prior to his return to UWM, Chad served as the Outreach Librarian for the Wisconsin Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. In addition to providing day-to-day library services to patrons, he also directed a state-wide advertising campaign to increase awareness of the library and its services. Before the WLBPH, Chad worked for Endeavor Information Systems based in Des Plaines, IL, as a global systems trainer for the Voyager ILS. He was responsible for library implementations in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Chad has served as Assistant Dean since July, 2004, and teaches classes in Library Automation and Internet Resources.
