Archives & Records Administration - Admission Requirements

A Master of Library and Information Science degree (MLIS/MLS) or a Master's degree in a closely related field such as history, educational technology or computer science is required for admission. No specific work experience is required.

Non-Degree Application

Application to UWM as a Non-degree student is required. When filling out the non-degree application you must indicate in the Applicant Statement, Section IV, that you are applying for the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Archives & Records Administration. Non-Degree Candidate (NDC) Admission information and a link to the online application: https://apply.wisconsin.edu/
