Summer New Student Orientation
When attending New Student Orientation, we ask that you park in the underground lot located within the UWM athletics facility, the Klotsche Center/Pavilion. From the Klotsche Center/Pavilion, Orientation Leaders will direct you to Zelazo Center for New Student Orientation. Parking will be $6.00/day.
***Please note that the Klotsche Center/Pavilion Parking Lot does not open for New Student Orientation Parking until 7:45 am. Please plan accordingly.***

Overnight Accommodations
If you will be staying overnight in the Milwaukee area, there are a number of places you can stay near campus, downtown and in the Milwaukee area. For a comprehensive listing of area accommodations please see the Visit Milwaukee website online at www.visitmilwaukee.org
Overnight accommodations are also available in Kenilworth Guest Housing and Conference. More information can be located here or by calling 414-229-6588.

From the South – From I-43 North/I-94 West near downtown Milwaukee. Take I-794 east to the Lakefront Exit/Lincoln Memorial Drive. Proceed straight (north) approx. three (3) miles on Lincoln Memorial Drive along Lake Michigan. Lincoln Memorial Drive will end over the top of a large hill and becomes Kenwood Blvd. Veer left/straight (west) along Kenwood Blvd. five (5) blocks to Downer Ave. Turn right (north) on Downer Ave. Proceed on Downer Ave. three and a half (3.5) blocks, turn left into the Klotsche Center/Pavilion lot. Proceed to the underground parking ramp located at the northeast corner of the building.Street Parking
From the West - From I-94 East near downtown Milwaukee, take I-794 east to the Lakefront Exit/Lincoln Memorial Drive. Proceed Straight (north) three (3) miles on Lincoln Memorial Drive along Lake Michigan. From the North - Take I-43 South into Milwaukee. Exit on Capitol Dr. Turn left (south) at bottom of the exit onto N. Green Bay Ave. Proceed to Captiol Dr., turn left (east) on Capitol Dr. Continue along on Capiol Dr. two and one half (2.5) miles to Downer Ave. Turn right (south) on Downer Ave. Travel along Downer Ave. one half (.5) mile, turn right (west) into Klotsche Center/Pavilion lot. Proceed to the underground parking ramp located at the northeast corner of the building.
From the Airport - Exit the Milwaukee airport loop to Airport Spur Rd. Continue along the Airport Spur to I-94 West heading toward downtown Milwaukee. From I-94 West Take I-794 east to the Lakefront Exit/Lincoln Memorial Drive. Proceed straight (north) approx. three (3) miles on Lincoln Memorial Drive along Lake Michigan. It is possible to find street parking around campus, however most parking spots are subject to various parking regulations and time constrictions. If you choose to park along the city streets please be aware that the City of Milwaukee patrols around UWM heavily to ticket those that are in violation of parking regulations.
