The New Office of Enrollment ManagementTo provide more efficient and superior service to students and families as they travel the road of exploring, selecting and enrolling at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, new departmental structures were explored under the direction of Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Dr. Michael Laliberte. The driving vision for this restructuring was to align the vision, goals and operations of the administrative offices charged with supporting strategic enrollment management goals, as well as to streamline processes for our incoming and returning students. From this work and resulting recommendations, the Departments of Enrollment Services and Recruitment and Outreach, the Student Success Center, and the Department of Financial Aid, Student Employment, and Military Education Benefits have been realigned to form the new Office of Enrollment Management (OEM). The departments working within the Office of Enrollment Management umbrella include: The Department of Admissions and Recruitment, the Registrar's Office, The Student Success Center and the Department of Financial Aid, Student Employment and Military Education Benefits. These new alignments will provide students and families with a more seamless experience from a first contact with the University through the first year and beyond, and offer more options for efficient services and defined support.
