The Panther Dance Team is a performance group dedicated to school spirit. The team is registered as a club sport, but is not funded by the University or Athletic Department. Their performances which integrate jazz, hip-hop, and traditional pom moves are choreographed by team members. You can see the dance team perform at Men's and Women's Soccer games, Women's volleyball, Men's and Women's Basketball, and various community events.

Appearances for University functions and events in the Milwaukee community vary in number and length from year to year. They may include mall fashion shows, Summerfest performances, or a local school's pep rally.

Requests for the dance team are accepted by a first-come first-serve basis. There is no fee, however, since the squad is self-funded they do appreciate donations. Requests should be submitted to the Dance Team, dance@uwm.edu at least two weeks in advance of the event.
