What is EWB? We are a not for profit organization that works on sustainable projects in developing communities worldwide. The last project that we finished was in a rural village in Guatemala; it helped to bring people fresh water and educate those involved about sustainable systems. The project took several years and over 50,000 dollars to complete. We need help from every possible field, including:
-Spanish speakers to help communicate with people during our abroad projects and also some local projects
-Artists and Designers to help design everything from buildings to posters
-Architects to make sure that our designs are sustainable as well as beautiful
-Engineers to make sure everything works
-Teachers to educate those in the communities we're working within
-Computer science to help us with a website, and also to create compact software solutions for engineering applications
-Social Workers to build and advocate communities locally and abroad
If any of this sounds interesting to you, please come to a meeting to get more information and get involved! Meeting times are posted in the Twitter feed to the left of this section.
