Club Meetings and Activities

Thanks for a great spring semester!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the GIS club during the spring semester. Watch here for news about club summer activities.

Catch up on what happened in the club during the last semester.

Got a favorite pothole?

The GIS Club has started its work on the Milwaukee Pothole Mapping project. Download the free MapplerK (not Mappler-K) app from the Apple app store or from the Google Play store then get the log-in details at the project's web site.

See a pothole and map it with Mappler. It's easy and fun.

Where in the world?

Welcome to the Geographic Information Systems Club at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. We're the club where you can learn about GIS, get help with projects, help others with projects, learn about getting certified, and look for a job.

It's easy to join and we don't charge dues. And besides that, we know how to have fun.

Whether you're a freshman or about to defend your PhD dissertation, the GIS Club has something for you.

Next Club Meeting

The next meeting of the GIS Club is on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 5 PM to 6:30 PM. Learn about the club, exchange ideas, and chat with like-minded individuals. Stop by when you can and stay as long as you like. We'll meet at the Union Gasthaus.

Want to learn more, e-mail us.

The club collected spatial data for the Milwaukee River Greenway Coaltion on April 8, 2013.
