A Letter From Lisa A LaPointe
Dear Library and Information Science Students:
Would you like to get involved in the library profession before graduation? Would you like to network with potential employers and colleagues? Would you like to learn more about libraries at small to mid sized colleges? The Membership Committee of the College Libraries Section of ACRL is inviting you to consider joining us.
CLS offers some great activities and publications including: COLLIB-L, our discussion list, the college web site of the month, CLIP Notes, “Your Research Coach,” and the CLS Newsletter. It is easy to join CLS if you are not a member; simply select it as one of two sections that are included with your membership entitlements as an ACRL member or call ALA to make the change today. There are also many opportunities to serve on CLS committees. To volunteer please complete this easy form: http://www.ala.org/template.cfm?template=//cfapps/committee/volunteerform/volunteerform2.cfm&group1=acrl. It can be filled out in five minutes.
This is your opportunity to meet and network with colleagues who share common goals. For contact and other information, please see http://www.ala.org/ala/mgrps/divs/acrl/about/sections/cls/clshomepage.cfm
