D2L (Desire to Learn)
D2L is UWM's Web-based online course management system
D2L is used by students to:
- Obtain important course information
- Electronically submit assignments
- Read announcements
- Take quizzes
- Participate in class discussions
- View course assignment grades
Instructors using D2L will usually provide basic instruction for accessing the course website and indicate the D2L features that will be used in the course. Information and help are also available from the UWM Help Desk: GetTechHelp.uwm.edu or 414-229-4040
UWM instructors may use D2L to:
- Make course content available to the students online
- Conduct online quizzing
- Establish online discussion groups
- Provide links to online resources
- Maintain course grades online
