Campus secure file storage and sharing service for faculty, staff and students.

pantherFILE.uwm.edu

pantherFILE is the recommended storage and file sharing service for the campus community. Files are backed up regularly providing better security than saving files on a desktop, laptop or USB device. pantherFILE also facilitates collaboration as permissions can be given on files to be shared (e.g. view, edit, delete).


Storage Space
  • Faculty/staff: 1GB
  • Students: 250MB
To request additional storage space:
  • Faculty and staff: Contact the UWM Help Desk.
  • Students: Contact faculty or staff to request sponsorship; then contact the UWM Help Desk.

Mapped Drive Available

For faculty and staff using PCs, pantherFILE can also be accessed via a mapped drive. Contact the UWM Help Desk for more information and set-up.

Student Account Usage and Records Retention

Student ePanther service accounts (including pantherLINK) remain open for two semesters (fall and spring) after departure from the University. View the policy Student Records Retention Requirements here.
