The CIO's Welcome

We are fortunate to live in this era of exceptional possibilities.

As UWM’s interim CIO, my focus is to ensure UWM’s technology infrastructure, services and support are notably exceptional.

The key objective is to deliver a stable and reliable infrastructure services that are easy to use, and resources to support your work in teaching and learning, conducting research, and carrying out administrative duties.

The knowledgeable staff in UITS constantly revisit, review and refine our processes, skills and communication to serve the campus and support your needs.

As your interim CIO, I will carefully listen to learn about your needs and actively advocate to meet those needs using the resources available. I will also communicate proactively to ensure you have the information you need about campus technology services.

As a faculty member for the past 10 years here at UWM, I have had the opportunity to develop a good relationship with many of you. I sincerely appreciate the many emails of support I have received and I look forward to partnering with you to build the UWM vision of our future expectations. I welcome individual and collective feedback to continually improve the services and resources delivered to the UWM community.
