Details:
Due to the construction of the Kenwood Integrated Research Center, fiber optic cable supporting the network backbone on the UWM Campus must be re-routed. One of the connections between the east half of the main campus and the west half will be interrupted in order to switch to a new fiber optic path unaffected by construction. Access to networks and services should be unaffected by this work as redundant backbone routes exist to handle traffic during the maintenance.
