Details:      On Sunday, March 17 between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m., there will be maintenance in the UWM Data Center to apply critical network switch patches.

What will be the impact on IT services?

During the maintenance window, there will be interruptions to:
  • UWM enterprise IT services including pantherLINK, pantherFILE, PAWS, UWM websites, and the UWM Content Management System (CMS)
  • Connecting to IT services using an ePantherID and password
  • UWM WiFi service

  • There will be NO interruptions to:
  • The wired campus network
  • PROWLnet
  • Internet connection to and from campus (except when using the UWM WiFi service

  • These interruptions are anticipated to be short. Faculty, staff and students using an IT service during the maintenance window may be disconnected and should try to reconnect when the maintenance window has concluded. This maintenance timeframe was selected to minimize the impact on faculty, staff and students.
