Details:      On Saturday, August 16th from 9:00 p.m. through Sunday, August 17th at 6 a.m., maintenance will be underway in the MER Building to launch the UWM WiFi Service in the entire building. During this time, customers may experience connectivity issues with PROWLnet, the current wireless service.

At the completion of the maintenance, the UWM WiFi Service will replace PROWLnet in the MER Building.

The UWM WiFi Service will provide many more connection options than PROWLnet, as well as the secure, fast and reliable UWMWiFi option for faculty, staff and students. The launch of the UWM WiFi Service will also provide coverage in University assignable classrooms and lecture halls to meet the increasing need for wireless service in these classroom environments.
