Customized Apple Products - Not In Stock at UWM TechStore
Orders for items not in stock in the UWM TechStore are made online in the UWM Apple Store. You will create a proposal, which will be sent to your unit Computer Purchase Consultant and the UWM TechStore for processing.
Step 1 - Access the online UWM Apple Store:

You will be creating a proposal for a purchase through your department, so click on the link on the right-hand side of the page under 'Purchasing for your institution.'

b) On the next screen, click on the 'Create Quote' button.

To find the UWM Apple Store, first use the pull down list to select 'Wisconsin' and then enter Milwaukee in the text box labeled 'Enter your school's city.' Click the 'Find' button to go to the next step.
d) Click on 'Univ of Wisconsin-Milwaukee' in the 'Find your school' list, click the 'Continue' button and then the 'Take me there' button on the next screen.
e) You are now in the UWM Apple Store and should see 'University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee' at the top of the screen.
Step 2 - Make your selections and add them to your Cart:
a) Navigate through the store by clicking on the pictures and/or buttons to make your selections and add them to your cart.
Step 3 - Create your proposal:
Creating a proposal does not actually commit you to purchase anything. You are only creating a proposal, or quote, with a fixed configuration price.
a) When you are finished making your selections, click the Cart button in the upper right corner of the page. This will display the 'Review your Proposal' page and will show you the items you have selected.
c) You'll now need to sign in. If you have never visited the UWM Apple Store before, you will need to create an AppleID. This is usually based on your email address. click on the 'New Account' button to do so and follow the instructions. If you already have an AppleID, enter it and click the 'Sign In' button.
d) On the 'Proposal Information' page, enter your name, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as the 'School', your phone number, and the email address of your School/College/Division Computer Purchasing Consultant. Also enter uwm-techstore@uwm.edu in the 'Additional email addresses' text box, along with the email addresses for anyone else who should receive a copy of your proposal. Include your email address there if you would like to receive a copy.

Step 4 - Proposal processing:
a) Once your proposal is sent, it will be reviewed and forwarded to the UWM TechStore for purchasing based on your School/College/Division procedures. If you have questions about this process, please contact us at uwm-techstore@uwm.edu.
