Educational Opportunity Center
The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Educational Opportunity Center (EOC)is one of the seven federally funded educational opportunity outreach TRIO programs sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee to promote postsecondary education to underrepresented populations on college campuses. EOC is designed and dedicated to motivating and assisting low-income, first-generation college, and disabled Milwaukee County adults to further their education beyond the secondary level and earn a college degree.
Missionof the UWM EOC Project
The mission of the UWM EOC is to expand awareness about educational opportunities and postsecondary education options to low-income first generation Milwaukee County adult residents.
Goal of the UWM EOC Project
The goal of the UWM EOC project is to increase the number of Milwaukee County adults who enroll in postsecondary education institutions.
Purpose of the UWM EOC Project
The purpose of the EOC project is to develop and nurture collaborative relationships with community agencies, schools, postsecondary institutions, and with local business in the target area to engage in activities designed to involve and acquaint the local community with higher education.

- Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) & 42 Community Based Agencies in Milwaukee County that house MATC Adult Basic Skills, ESL, and GED/HSED Programs for adult students
