The Planning for the Future Program at UWM offers an academic year program for middle school students in 6th through 8th grade. The program operates October through May. This program aims to address the needs of students through educational and social activities.
Program includes:
- Reading/Writing, Math and Science Classes (skill-building to enrichment levels)
- Life Skills and Leadership Workshops
- Majors and Careers Exploration
- Tutoring (Quest Project) and Advising (School Visits)
- Mentoring by High School and College Students
- Guest Speaker Presentations
- Campus Tours, Field Trips and Social Activities
- Positive and Supportive Learning Environment
