1. Is transportation provided?
We provide bus tickets for participants to travel from sponsored events.
2. Does it cost to participate?
Services are free to students who are accepted and who:
- Are willing to make a commitment
- Want to improve their grades
- Have an interest in education beyond high school
- Have the support of their parent(s) or guardians(s) for their involvement in UWM Talent Search activities
- Academic, financial, career or personal counseling including advice on entry or re-entry into secondary or postsecondary programs
- Career exploration and aptitude assessment
- Tutorial services
- Information on postsecondary education
- Exposure to college campuses
- Information on student financial assistance
- Assistance in completing college admissions and financial aid application
- Assistance in preparing for college entrance exams
- Mentoring programs
