Emphasis on definition of architecture, explorations of definitions and the theoretical, pragmatic, and contextual issues that influence architecture. Lectures, readings, and examinations. 101 Introduction to Architectural Theory. 3 cr. U. A survey of architectural design theory through research analysis and criticism of works and ideas of significant architects and architectural theorists. Prereq: none.
