Web & Mobile

As experts in emerging technology, our team leads the overall digital strategy for uwm.edu and ensures that UWM has a high-quality and robust Web presence. It’s a big job: uwm.edu has a mind-boggling 22,700-plus pages (and counting) and averages 65,338 visitors daily during peak periods. Services include:

Web Design

We can provide Web branding guidelines and design assistance, including developing themes and templates that support the university’s brand. Using regular testing and user feedback, we’ll make sure your website not only looks good, but that it’s user-friendly, too.

Web Strategy

Wondering how your content should be organized or how to maximize your Web presence? We can share best practices as well insights gleaned from Web traffic analytics, focus groups and surveys.

Mobile

More than 70 percent of prospective students check out the university on their phone. In this era of the smart phone, we’ll help you maximize your website for the small screen.

Web Applications

We can make your life easier with web forms, online catalogs, business process workflow, and other applications, including online payment processing using UWM’s U.S. Bank ePayment services.

Website Support

We manage and provide support for Common Spot, UWM’s web content management system, and Cattrack, the university’s tutoring, mentoring and advising management and scheduling web application. (If you need help with other campus technology or need to report a problem, please contact the UWM Help Desk.)
