The word Yoga means union, It is a 5000 year old practice that is believed to provide inner peace, increased body awareness, strength, flexibility, and other health benefits. There are numerous different styles of yoga. At Klotsche we offer two styles of yoga: Yoga Essentials, which is a gently paced class based in hatha yoga and CorePower Yoga, which is a more vigorously paced class based in asthanga and vinyasa styles of yoga. Students are encouraged to try both classes in order to find one that fits their needs best.
Classes are not competitive:
A "good" practice is defined as whatever one's body and mind are capable of giving on a specific day. Respect and honor your body by not pushing past your limits of strength and flexibility. Stay present in the process and not obsessed with the outcome. Yoga practice is about letting go of competitiveness with others and yourself.
Physical assisting is part of many Mind & Body classes:
Your instructor may move your body with their hands in order to help you to find the correct alignment. If you feel uncomfortable with being physically assisted in class, please let your instructor know.
Mind/Body classes require registration and a separate fee.
