The Team

The Visual Design team is a diverse group of talented designers with decades of graphic design experience. This imaginative crew of experts can take your project from a mere thought to a successfully completed project, delivering a creative presence that will appeal to and engage your target audience.

Nan Fitzpatrick

More information about Nan coming soon!

Gina Johnson

“In my design, I tend to look back in order to look forward, pulling inspirational cues from decades earlier in music, design and writings. This influence helps me create a unique look with a familiar comfort for my clients.”

Getting Creative: When she’s not designing for UWM, you can find Gina at her sewing table. She’s most likely working on her line of eco-friendly handbags, usually with Bruce Springsteen playing in the background.

Mario Lopez

More information about Mario is coming soon!

Sue McKay

Design is more than just making something look pretty. It should have a purpose and achieve a goal. I strive to make design an integral part of the whole communications effort—both on the departmental and University levels.

Getting Creative: In addition to her graphic design experience, Sue has a background in video production. Over the years, she has been a camera operator for many cultural programs produced by Milwaukee Public Television.

Shelly Rosenquist

“From logo design to a complete re-branding of your college, I love a good challenge. A professional designer for over 15 years, I know I can tackle whatever project you can dish out.”

Getting Creative: Shelly not only loves design, but also fine art. She creates one-of-a-kind soft pastel paintings on handmade wooden canvases and participates in professional juried fine art shows all over the Midwest.

 Beth Veglahn

“I’ve designed at both in-house and agency settings and have experience creating identities, marketing collateral and Websites. I have a strong attention to detail and believe every facet of a project should receive equal attention, right down to the spacing in a phone number.”

Getting Creative: Beth loves infusing graphic design with handmade elements. In her spare time, she creates stationery and also quills (the art of rolling paper) to create intricate designs.
