The Graduate School invites graduate students, faculty, academic staff, grant administrators, and researchers to this engaging professional development opportunity: A Guide to Foundation Grant Funding. Nearly fifty thousand private foundations with almost $400 billion in assets make grants, but approaching them is quite different than submitting a grant proposal to a federal agency. While a good idea is always important, foundations are especially receptive to good ideas with the potential to produce significant impact. While everyone might benefit from this workshop, it is especially designed for those who already have some grant writing experience.
