Location: Departure to job shadow site from UWM Union half circle driveway on Kenwood at 11:30 am sharp!
Presenter: UWM Alumni at Rockwell Automation
The Shadow a Panther program provides UWM students an opportunity to spend a half day with UWM alumni in a career field or company of interest. Transportation is provided to and from the host site to the UWM Union.
In this visit, you will have the chance to shadow a number of Rockwell employees, including:
--Josh Madlung, Production Control Analyst
--Julie Forsythe, Production Control Analyst
--Kemal Farrokhnia, Operations Leadership Development Program Associate - Manufacturing Supervisor
--Chelsea Stachowiak, Operations Leadership Development Program Associate - Production Control Analyst
The shadow is scheduled for 12-4 p.m. and a detailed agenda for this site visit is below:
12:00-1:00: Lunch with a presentation from Mark Catri, Plant Manager
1:00-2:00: Weekly plant metrics meeting with all of the managers associated with production held on the production floor
2:00-2:30: Production meeting where the production schedule for the following week is discussed
2:30-3:30: General tour of the Mequon campus including all the departments of the production facility
3:30-4:00: Follow-up questions and discussions on individual job functions and experiences

Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email to your PantherLink email account with further participation requirements that include:
--Writing a STATEMENT OF INTENT;
--Completing a SHADOW A PANTHER PREPARATION SURVEY;
--Signing a PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT WAIVER at the Career Development Center.
FAILURE TO COMPLETE THESE STEPS BY FRIDAY, APRIL 19th WILL RESULT IN REMOVAL FROM THE PROGRAM AND YOUR SPOT GIVEN TO A STUDENT ON A WAITING LIST.
