Early Education Teacher Certification

The Electa Quinney American Indian Early Childhood Education Teacher Certification program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is where qualified American Indian and Alaska Native students work toward completion of a certification in Early Childhood Education (Birth - Grade 3) from the School of Education.

Partners in this full-time, year-round program are UWM, the Indian Community School of Milwaukee Inc., the Ho-Chunk Nation, and the Oneida nation of Wisconsin, and the Stockbridge Munsee Band of Mohican Indians.

The program currently has 10 students enrolled.
