Public Scholarships

The following scholarships are available to UWM students through outside organizations.

Glendale Woman’s Club Scholarship
Deadline:  March 20, 2014

The Glendale Woman’s Club is offering a $1,500 scholarship to a student over 21 years of age who has returned to school after a hiatus of at least two years.  The scholarship will be awarded for the 2014 fall semester upon verification of a 2.5 or higher GPA.

ASIST Scholarship
Deadline:  March 27, 2014

The Adult Students in Scholastic Transition (ASIST) Program will provide scholarships of $1,000 to $3,000 for non-traditional students from Southeastern Wisconsin who find themselves in a variety of transitional situations and are in need of financial assistance to further their education.

Whitefish Bay Woman’s Club Scholarship
Deadline: April 4, 2014

The Whitefish Bay Woman’s Club will award one $1,200 scholarship to a financially needy student for the 2014-2015 academic year.

Applicants must be full-time undergraduates with sophomore, junior, or senior standing and a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.  

Wisconsin residency and completion of at least one semester at UWM are required.
