Student Employment Manuals and Policies
The Department of Financial Aid, Student Employment and Military Education Benefits periodically reviews policies and procedures relating to the practices of student employment on the UW-Milwaukee campus. The student and supervisor handbook outlines specific guides for a plethora of areas including, but not limited to, hiring, orientating, disciplinary methods, proper job posting and compensation rates for student employees.
Within these documents, new regulations will be updated periodically without notification to the university, unless there is a major change. Departments are encouraged to review the handbooks annually to ensure proper compliance is followed.
