Nov. 6, Digital Humanities Talk

As multimodal learning becomes the preferred educational method for information conveyance and retention there is a greater emphasis to create dynamic and interactive spaces that allow for this kind of learning to be implemented. This goal has created a unique opportunity for the symbiotic relationship between the digital humanities and virtual interactive spaces. By using game based technologies the digital humanities can not only act as a medium for digital access but also to allow learners to immerse themselves in the material and the interact with the materials in interactive game space.
