Paul Eisloeffel

Adjunct Instructor, Archival Studies Program
Media Archivist, Lincoln, Nebraska

Paul is educated in history and archives and has been a practicing archivist since the early 1980s. He is currently the Curator of Audiovisual Collections at the Nebraska State Historical Society. His career has involved him with the full spectrum of archival materials at one time or another, but for the last several years he has concentrated on audiovisuals, particularly moving images on film. Working with vintage audiovisuals suits him well; He’s a bit of a tinkerer and finds their mechanical and tactile qualities quite satisfying. He has published and presented on audiovisuals, taught classes and workshops, and runs a small business, Archives Filmworks, that helps institutions with their moving image holdings.
